responsibilities
- assist the company throughout the data analysis journey to increase efficiency and improve performance by discovering patterns in data, enable insight analytics with dashboards and reports
- perform analyses, development, and evaluation of data mining in the logical data warehouse (ldw) environment to resolve fuzzy problems and answer critical business questions
- responsible for the overall architecture, design, implement, and maintenance of ldw systems for both structured and non-structured data, with efficient data integration layer, master data/operational data store
- proactively draw out all types of requirements on the data analytics from stakeholders, and work closely with them to ensure the solutions in line with their strategic roadmap
- articulate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, provide subject matter expertise regarding the building of high impact dashboards and data visualizations
- explain technical concepts and analysis clearly to the wide audience, including senior executives
- maintain documentation and source control for the whole ldw operation
- build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and delivery partners
requirements
- university degree in related disciplines
- 10 years working in the it field, with at least 5 years hands-on experience in data analytics, data mining, and bi role
- strong in building etl/elt processes using any tools (e.g., talend, python, powershell, etc.)
- strong in any data visualization tools, including power bi, splunk, etc.
- strong in database solutions, including ms sql and oracle
- hands-on ldw architecture design and implementation, including data warehouse, data lake, master data management, integration and transformation platforms, etc.
- hands-on with sql and restful api programming
- hands-on with integration solutions is a plus (e.g., dell boomi, mulesoft, etc.)
- experience with supporting parallel projects in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
- ability to listen and articulate ideas verbally and in the written form to a broad range of audiences; ability to ask probing questions and deliver internal technical presentations
- well-developed analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills, leveraging both logic and creativity; strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills; ability to identify patterns and generate informed ideas
- sound analytical and creative mind, and be able to work under pressure
