responsibilities
- carry out business analysis relating to system development and systems integration
- participate in the complete cycle of software development from business requirement gathering, testing, end-user training to production rollout
- produce project documents including the scope of work, project plan, functional specifications, test plan, and training materials
- work on system revamp projects and contribute to preparing systems roadmap
- coordinate project activities and to manage a fast-paced task list with varying complexity in delivering professional solutions to the company
- maintain legacy systems and support end-users for daily business operations
- liaise and communicate across different teams and departments (investment, accounting, and information technology) to ensure the system implemented aligns with the business needs and expectations
requirements
- degree holder in finance and accounts, information technology, or related discipline
- five years or above experience in software development and systems integration
- strong understanding of the financial market, investment instruments, and accounting
- knowledge in middle-office and back-office operations
- prior experience working with application development and infrastructure teams
- good written and verbal communication skills and be adept at listening and soliciting feedback
- pro-active, well-organized, can work under pressure and a good team player
- candidates with less experience will be considered as a business analyst
