responsibilities
- report to infrastructure manager, to design, implement and manage corporate infrastructure including lan/wan, firewalls, system/cloud platform and all infrastructure areas
- ensure the whole infrastructure is operating in a stable and effective manner
- as a project owner to liaison with vendors/system integrators in solution evaluation and project implementation
- work closely with other teams to complete the assigned projects and tasks
- explore and introduce emerging information technologies and practices relevant to the company
- manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and support of the group computer room, server, storage, network, cloud infrastructure and system incident, and need to provide non-office hours support when necessary
- formulate the operation manuals, policies, and procedures
- prepare management reports on infrastructure usage, capacity and performance, responsible to the it inventory management
- manage the contractors and vendors to ensure the delivery of services in accordance with contract terms and conditions
requirements
- bachelor’s degree or above in information systems or computer science
- 12 years or above it working experience and 3 years in sizeable firm similar role
- hands-on experience in support and troubleshooting in routing and switching network and large-scale server farm, and able to work with vendor independently to deal with infrastructure emergency
- solid experience in deploying and supporting in l2 / l3 network switch, router, firewall, wifi and load balancer including cisco, palo alto, fortigate, aruba and ruckus
- hands on experience in microsoft aad, adfs, dns, sql server, azure, vmware, veeam, prtg and san storage
- expertise in office 365 and azure design and support on aad, eol, sharepoint, teams, intune, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication
- support on computer system including cisco ip phone system, microsoft o365, azure cloud applications
- knowledge of programming in vb script, power shell is an advantage
- technical certification in microsoft, azure, ccnp and itil preferred
- self-initiative, able to work independently
