responsibilities
- oversee the production of high-quality content across the society’s website and social media platforms for the purposes of brand building and public engagement
- ensure all content presents an accurate representation of brand and is appropriate to a variety of program objectives and audiences
- collaborate with the society’s program and marketing teams and external vendors to develop high quality and compelling print, visual, and video materials
- lead the development of a range of textual materials, including brochures, newsletters, interviews, press releases, and other collaterals
- co-ordinate the development of short interviews, story and script writing, ensuring that the content is accurate and well-received by different audiences (members, young professionals, and school teachers)
- supervise colleagues in cross-channel content creation (web, print, and mobile)
requirements
- bachelor degree in language studies, translation, journalistic writing or broadcast journalism
- at least eight years of experience in corporate affairs, journalism, digital media or broadcasting
- good writing and editing skills in english and chinese, preferably with some experience in tech or science context
- the ability to see and approach things differently and make quick changes to deliver goals
- less experienced candidates will be considered in the grade of assistant manager
